Magic Mirror on the wall, who has the easiest pumpkin idea of all? This no-carve pumpkin is spooky and easy for little hands to make, go ahead...take a bite!
1. Paint the base of your pumpkin red, coat twice for consistency.
2. Once paint is dry use the sharpie to draw the poison apple face shape. It's essentially two droopy circles for eyes and a runny triangle/ upside down heart as a nose, you can get creative with this and use a quick google search as a reference.
3. Paint the top of your pumpkin white and start to form "drips" around the pumpkin and the eyes, coat twice for consistency. Let dry completely.
4. Cut out felt leaf for the top, use hot glue to attach.
This DIY Haunted Mansion door sign makes a spooky addition to your haunted abode and will be sure to make you the perfect ghost host this Halloween season.
1. Print out your template and set aside, make sure it will fit in your frame and if it doesn't downsize the scale when printing.
2. Use polymer clay to create 3 figures. For the top portion of the sign, a horned face and arch and for the bottom a skull. Bake these for 30 minutes at 250 degrees, let cool for 3 hours on a flat surface.
3. Paint your frame and backing mint green, also paint your clay figures once completely cool.
4. Assemble your frame and cut out your template letters with an Xacto Knife, trace and paint in lettering. Use a dark green colored paint for contrast.
5. Glue clay figures to your frame.
5. With your silver paint and sponge, apply paint to your frame and figures in a random pattern to give the sign a false "aged look"
6. Use season after season to spook your houseguests ;)

Sharing what was included with this months Disney Treasures subscription box! The theme this month was "Tiny Town" and was full of the cutest tiny things from Disney Films and Disney Parks!
As a reminder this is a Funko subscription service that ships every other month with exclusive Disney themed goodies inside. The other boxes I talk about on the blog are Smugglers Bounty (Star Wars) and Collector Corps (Marvel).
The patch this month was Princess Atta from A Bugs Life and this totally thrilled me. I love the film and she is one of my favorite POP characters to date. This is definitely the best patch I've received in any Funko box to date....except perhaps this one ;)
And this months pin was Gus-Gus from Cinderella.
One of the biggest surprises for me was the "it's a small world" Dorbz Ride, I guess I never thought they would make anything for this attraction so it's safe to say I was thrilled to see this included!! The little girl (representing Holland) and the little boy (representing Mexico) come complete with a ride boat. It's safe to say this vinyl will have a prominent spot in my office.
I think what made this box such a good one is that two "crown jewels" were included. One being the it's a small world ride and a wildly fun Tinkerbell POP. Her glitter trail, the paint colors used, and the figures stance make this one of my all time favorite POPs that I own. This pop reminds me so much of the Disneyland I enjoyed as a kid and in particular the fireworks show where she flew in at the end from the castle. Anyone else remember that? haha.
Also included was a darling Jimmy Cricket mystery mini that came in a ride themed tin, similar to the one I showed in the pirates cove box.

Back to school time is finally here! Keep all your school supplies out of the way (and hide your snacks in class) with this cute felt pouch inspired by Meeko from Pocahontas!
1. Cut out felt shapes (I used this template as a reference!).

Hey all! Todays post is short, but I have very fun plans tonight that I wanted to share inn blog post form. Cameron and I are headed to see The Oregon Symphony preform tonight and they are playing an assortment of classic Disney Songs.
Incase you are new here, this is something that is right up our alley, haha.
We are thrilled to be guests at this performance tonight and even though this particular show is sold out I would highly recommend a trip to see a symphony performance if you get the chance! I used to go regularly when I was fairly young and seeing music preformed live is something else when coordinated. There are so many individuals involved, it's a wonder that it all works together!
We are so excited and I will try to Snapchat as much as I can :)

UPDATE: The concert last Friday was so much fun and we had a great time. The singers and musicians were amazing and the visuals that accompanied the music were so well done. Here are some snaps from the event. I would definitely recommend an Oregon Symphony concert if you are looking for a unique date night idea in Portland.

Two unboxing posts in just a few days? Guys, I am playing a wild round of catchup with my mail! Like I have said a few times, we are moving so I am trying to simultaneously pack, tie up loose ends here in Corvallis, and manage content for the blog. I can't wait till the dust finally settles down.
On to the good stuff, Libby Tees just launched a very fun subscription service and I was asked to share the contents of Aprils box with you guys! Now the bad news, Aprils box is completely sold out but (!!) this should give you an idea as to what type of items will be included for the next round. The theme of this box was "Best Day Ever!" and everything included a reference to Tangled.
Let's open shall we?
First off, the packaging was quite adorable! There were even little glittery Mickey shaped confetti pieces included in the packing and the note included let's you know who contributed what in the box.
Next thing that I immediately fell in love with were these gold shimmer ears from Extra Magic Hours! In my opinion, these ears (normally 45$) made the box worth the price. Gold ears will go with everything you can possibly wear and they can work for all holidays and events. Plus, the craftsmanship on these is superb and almost matches the quality of ears found in the park! You would never be able to tell they were handmade, all the details are seamless.
The main theme of the box surrounds this Libby Tees shirt that says "best day ever" and is in the subtle shape of Mickey Mouse! I loved the fit of this tee and the softness factor. Also the resin Rapunzel pin by C and C Baby was also an adorable touch, it will look so cute on overalls this summer!

YOU GUYS!! I am thrilled (thrilled!!) to be talking about todays blog post topic. I have covered the various Funko subscription services for about a year (catch up here) and although I love me some Star Wars nothing compares to Disney collectibles and Funko pops. Funko announced Disney Treasures awhile back and the fact that it's finally here is unreal. I can't even put into words how jazzed I was to get this box in the mail this month. I am SO here for this and SO pumped to see the upcoming themes.

Alright guys, lets unbox this beautiful thing!!
First off, when the box arrived I was blown away by how cute it was! The little Mickey lock, themed sticker, and trunk details were just so fun. And just in case you wanted an extra sticker to put on something like your planner or a notebook, an additional one was included inside! :)
Lets start of with the biggest thing included, literally! The POTC Dorbz Ship and Pirate!
Besides being ridiculously specific to the Disney Parks POTC attraction, this is one of the more unique Funko items that I have received in a subscription box. I have definitely seen Dorbz before, but never for a Disney Parks ride! Way cool and 100% exclusive to Disney Treasures.
Antoher one of the big items included with this Disney Treasures theme was the Smee Pop! Personally I love Smees outfirt in peter Pan so this one thrilled me, haha. He is so darn cute!
But my most favorite item? The metal box that micro jack sparrow came in! I always get excited about the littlest things, and this color themed Pirates tin rocks my world. It reminds me of Disneyland and I am planning on using it for essential oils on my kitchen counter. So adorable!
The patch that was included is part of a series that will be revealed as the boxes arrive through the calendar year. This box had a Captain Hook themed flag patch and a Mickey pirate pin!
Overall, this is my favorite box that I have opened thus far but I am so so so partial because it is Disney themed. Here is a breakdown of what was included this round. If you really want Pirates Cove, order asap! You only have a few days left in April to snag it.
