Ariel and Alder

3/ Little Mermaid Flannel ($49.99)/ 4/ Snow Forest Scarf ($78.00)
8/ Little Mermaid Gym Tee ($20.00) 9/ Pom Pom Hat ($49.50) 10/ Shell Luggage Tag ($10.00)

In the same vein of sharing my boyfriends wish list on the blog, I thought I would share my own! I have done this on this blog in years past and I think I'm not alone in loving to peek at what people want each year for the Holidays. As you can see the majority of this years list is Disney related (naturally) but this cold wet weather has me eyeballing a few cozy staples like new slippers, a fleece pullover and this gorgeous scarf

I did catch Cameron placing some Nordstrom boxes under our tree, so sneaky this time of year!

Was wondering the mall (holiday shopping is is full swing!!) last night when I stumbled on the worlds most adorable star wars collection at Pottery Barn Kids. Oh my word, everything is so lust worthy for the child within and every detail is oh-so purposeful.

Everything from party supplies to a ridiculous millennium falcon bed frame is listed and items are both boy and girl friendly. For any children in your life who love Star Wars, these items would make incredible gifts that make both parent and child happy. I did leave the store with a cute Yoda freezer pack but to be completely honest I was eyeballing this sheet set for my own apartment.

Monograms, Home Decor, and Star Wars? I. Cant. Get. Enough!

Browse some of my favorites below and may the force be with you!

I absolutely love that I have the excuse to call anything pastel "sugar plum" this time of year! I usually associate pinks, purples, and sky blues with springtime and easter, but they make such a pretty holiday combo right?

Oldies but goodies! These flats are a little (ok ahhh-lot!) overpriced but oh so fun anyway!

Outfit Details: Dark Wash Denim/ Color Block Sweater (similar dress!)/ Rockstud Flats (old season, current ones linked)/ Abba Earrings (c/o)/ Plaid Cashmere Scarf/ Gold Face Watch (c/o)/ Grey Knit Pom Pom Hat (similar linked)

This scarf was gifted to me by my boyfriends grandparents last Christmas and it truly has become one of my unexpected favorites. I love to receive what I call underground gifts, gifts that sit on your desk the day after christmas not particularly inspiring and then through your daily life become a quick favorite. I really didn't think of it at the time but I can match this plaid with anything! Pink, brown, grey, or tan, It's super versatile and just so happens to match my favorite flats. The scarf I linked is similar in colors and is on sale right now so if you know someone who wears the color palette I described it might make a great gift.

Happy Weekend Friends!

Anyone that knows my boyfriend (and photographer!) Cameron knows that he is simultaneously the hardest and easiest person to get gifts for. On one hand he has simplistic style, likes woodsy colors and and has topic interests like Star Wars that make him easy to buy for. And on the other hand he will tell you he needs and wants nothing and doesn't want to be demanding. His birthday and Christmas are both in December so "Cameron Month" really is cause for slight panic.

His relatives always knock on my door and ask me "What does Cameron want this year?"

Todays gift guide is just for Cameron, someone who puts so much time into this blog with me and is very very underpaid but not under appreciated. Here are some ideas for Christmas and his Birthday this year.

PS. I have given him special instructions to not read or edit this post, most of these items are ones that he has requested over the year but a few are just ideas from me.

From The Graphic

1. Star Trek Apron ($24.99)/ When I list this, what I really mean is that you can buy anything from the Star Trek section of Think Geek and Cam will like it but the apron is exceptionally fun.

2. AT-AT Desk Lamp ($70)/ When I saw this I couldn't think of anything more "Cameron". The wooden base and holographic appearance are way too cool and this would definitely earn a prominent place on cams desk or in our living room bookshelf.

3. Gaming Mouse ($49.98)/ I would be a fool to try and explain this one when I don't fully understand gaming at one's desk, but he requested it so....here it is.

4. Millenium Falcon Cutting Board ($29.99)/ Too cool not to use, I'm fairly certain all of our other cutting boards would become obsolete. Chop it Chewie!

5. Timbuk 2 Shoulder Bag ($49.99 to 99.00)/ Another Cameron request, in the pattern pictured or the black and white

7. Desktop Organizer ($39.99)/ Cam is a collector of little tiny knick knacks for his desk, and with a desk (sorry, this one is my bad, I picked out the office furniture) with zero to little storage the tiny things that he collects float all over the place. I think this organizer is functional with little drawers, but would also give him lifted space to display.

8. Pendelton X Star Wars Tee ($34.00)/ Okay so officially the last thing Cameron needs is another Tee (or jacket!! NO more jackets!!) but this one is too unique and cool to pass up. Its part of the Pendleton for Star Wars collaboration and its definitely up his alley.

9. BB-8 App Enabled Mini Droid ($150)/ The most adorable and entertaining droid toy, its control enabled with an app on your phone.

12.  Earl Grey Tea ($5.00+)/ Cameron likes a cup of earl grey more than any other hot beverage, his go-to Starbucks order is often a London Fog (earl grey with cream)

13/ Classic Birkenstocks ($134.95)/ What can I say he was jealous of my pair all summer long, flip flops just don't cut it sometimes.

Other Ideas

Pendleton Scarf ($69.50)

I don't know how I have lived in the Pacific Northwest so long without a pair of Timberlands! They are my new favorite boots!

Outfit Details: Crystal Necklace (c/o)/ Turtleneck/ Cashmere V-Neck Sweater (the best! I've been wearing it non-stop)/ Navy Parka (on sale!)/ Denim/ Timberland Boots

Sharing some photos from up in the mountains for Thanksgiving. My family opted to do Thanksgiving at Timberline Lodge this year and it did not disappoint! It really is the most gorgeous lodge and is stuffed full of history. I will share more this week about our stay but for now here is a brief peek.

This jacket that I'm wearing is amazing (currently on sale!) and has been such a must have for cold weather the Pacific northwest is experiencing. I was a little reluctant to buy anything with a fur collar (I have issues with the idea of wearing another critters fur) but after a lot of face freezing last year I ignored my possibly better judgement and went for it. The hood really does make the difference in comparison to other parkas that I've had in winters past so its a win for this girl, even though my inner Oregonian has her tail between her legs. Ugh, inner turmoil.

If you are curious, you can learn more about Pendeltons sourcing and traditions here!

Dependent on your own personal wants, needs, and boundaries...If you are looking for a great coat, this one is a great one.

Happy snow season!
