Disney Family // DIY Luxo Ball Hoop

Happy Friday guys!

Todays post may seem short, but its because the "bulk" is on another site. I recently worked on a DIY luxo ball craft with Disney Family and I had so much fun making it.

What I love about this DIY is it is so darn easy, you can do this in a shorter amount of time than the usual embroidery project. This is the first DIY I have done with Disney that is made with little hands in mind, but for ages 10 and under some parental supervision might be necessary because of needles.

Here are some helpful tips if you are making this with a little artist:

1.  For really little ones (ages 2-5) the safest method for this project would be to cut out the shapes ahead of time and forgo the needle and thread. Instead adhere the felt with some fabric glue!

2. Dull tapestry needles are available at mainstream craft stores if your kiddo wants to work on this solo. That way there is less chance of the needle breaking the skin if they miss or push too hard into the fabric.

Here are two other projects if you missed them:

Have fun, and happy crafting! If you or your family try this on the weekend, make sure to tag me and @disneyfamily :)

xo,
Natalie
